How About “Green” Technology?
NEW ECO-FRIENDLY SHRINK WRAP KEEPS MICROBES OUT
Medical and Food service industries have long looked for a way to ship and or store machinery or products that are sensitive to foreign microbes. This has proved a taunting task.
Not any more.
Nothing is worse than uncovering a boat or caravan after a long season in storage and finding mold or mildew. With our BioShrink Shrink wrap, there’s no need to worry about weather damage or menacing microbial growth.
With its antimicrobial coating, this tan shrink wrap resists the development of microorganisms under the cover. It hinders growth of mildew, mold, algae and bacteria, including E. coli, so there will be no surprises when unwrapping a boat or caravan. This patented product is the first of its kind and is available for installation today.
Committed to protecting the environment, our BioShrink Shrink wrap is environmentally friendly. This coating exhibits no harm to natural surroundings. If you would like more information on our company and additional shrink wraps we offer, see About Us.
Protection for Commercial Projects
ANTIMICROBIAL SHRINK WRAP PROTECTS CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
Most construction and remodeling jobs aren’t completed in a single day. If building materials are left out for weeks or months without any protection, they can end up covered in mold or mildew. Atlantic Shrink wrapping Inc. has premium UV protected BioShrink shrink wrap with additives that resist mold, mildew, algae and bacteria, including E.Coli, and to help prevent severe damage.
By attaching BioShrink to walls, the shrink wrap can be used to cover an entire room or area during construction. Lining basements and crawlspaces with BioShrink is a great way to help avoid mold and mildew any time of the year. To cover materials that will be left outside, BioShrink can be heat-shrunk like regular shrink wrap for a tight fitting cover that will provide its full antimicrobial protection as a storage or transportation cover.
The distinctive tan BioShrink is also great for modular and pre-fabricated homes or buildings.
Flame Retardant Protection Technology
ASI installs Flame Retardant shrink wrap that meets NFPA 701 specifications for extinguishing itself after, heat sources are removed. This makes our 26’ and 40’ materials perfect for covering scaffolding, window openings, or entire buildings.
Flame Retardant Shrink wrap also helps to reduce the risk of fire damage during transportation and storage
Do you have a product that needs to be stored in or around hazardous areas that may be exposed to outside flames, such as welding or steam fitting? Flame Retardant shrink wrap is the way to go.
Not only is Flame Retardant shrink wrapping great for its obvious properties but it is also the thickest shrink wrap currently available. A full 12 mil thick. In many cases this plastic will be used just for the thickness of the material alone. And it still carries all of the great aspects of regular shrink wrap, such as UV inhibitors.
ASI has used this Flame Retardant Shrink Wrap for many different applications and we feel that there is no better, thicker, stronger or more reliable shrink wrap on the market.
Flame Retardant Polyethylene Film
Ideally suited for any application requiring a protective covering with flame retardant characteristics. Meets NFPA 701 specifications.

ENHANCED SHRINK WRAPS WITH ( VCI ) VOLATILE CORROSION INHIBITORS
Ordinary shrink wrap can guard against weather damage, but sometimes extra protection is needed. Atlantic Shrink Wrapping offers premium corrosion resistant shrink wrap to help shield equipment from the damaging effects of corroded parts.
Shrink wrap containing volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) helps protect products, so they arrive at their destinations clean and rust free. Available in a variety of sizes, the VCI film releases an odorless, invisible, non-toxic vapor when placed within a shrink wrapped enclosure. The molecules cover the exposed metal surfaces, preventing the electrochemical corrosion process. The VCI additive replaces messy grease, wax or lubricants, but still allows the use of UV inhibitor for long term usage.
Shrink Wrap Specifications
All ASI, shrink wrap is 100% virgin resin material, with extremely consistent mil thickness and opacity. It contains 6% UV inhibitors by weight for excellent performance during long term storage and transportation.
